The Organizing Committee
CIMUN is an entirely student-run conference, our organizing committee consists of more than 100 students who work for 9 months in order to make our annual March conference a memorable experience for everyone.
Meet the 24th CIMUN coordinators:
They act as intermediaries between the OC Head and the Committee heads.

Reception
This committee is not only in charge of coffee breaks, lunch breaks
and beverages during the conference days and Saturday sessions.
It is responsible for organizing outings and trips tailored to energize
and motivate CIMUN’s members. This information is gathered during
general meetings, surveys and other possible and effective means that the
committee should come up with. It should organize events that would help
integrate the substantive committee and the organizing committee, such as
a sports day. In addition, the committee is in charge of JCIMUN events
and outing during the conference.

Coordination
This committee is the connection between the Academic committee
(secretariats) and the OC especially during the conference time. Its tasks
are also related to the logistical work during the Saturday sessions and
conference days. These tasks include reservation of rooms and other equipment
associated with the room. In addition, coordination has a creative side, where
it is responsible for designing the staff organizer, Nametags, placards and the
yearbook. Coordination is also responsible for the promotional materials used
during the conference. For the conference, coordinators recruit and train
ushers and become in charge of them. This also reflects on JCIMUN.

External Public Relations
The ultimate purpose of this committee is to publicize and promote the conference
off campus.This is done by setting up booths in other universities, visiting
embassies, acquiring media coverage for the conference and attracting foreign
delegates to join. EPR is also responsible for constantly coordinating with
IPR because they have common events, such as the closing ceremoney, and they
they share the publicity of CIMUN. As for junior CIMUN, EPR is responsible
for recruiting high school delegates by visiting different schools with good
English standards.

Fundraising
The Fundraising Committee is responsible for raising funds for CIMUN, and finding
creative benefits for sponsors in order to benefit from the new campus.
In addition to traditional methods of fundraising, this committe will be expected
to innovatively explore, study, and implement new methods of fundraising.
Also, the Fundraising Committee will be responsible for creating a database
that includes all the previously contacted sponsors throughout previous years.
Upgrading and modifying the benefit pack with the new benefits offered in the
campus is among the major tasks of this committee.

Information Technology
The Information Technology (IT) Committee is involved in developing and updating CIMUN’s website.
In addition, the IT Committee will create and implement databases for the other committees
to be used as information sources. This committee will also be responsible for creating
documentaries for the various events of CIMUN, such as the soft opening, opening and closing ceremonies.
Also, the IT Committee will be providing technical support throughout the preparation phase
and the conference itself.To do this the committee should be in working with the Substantive Committee
in order to convey the theme correctly. Also, IT should benefit from the advanced technology used
in the new campus that will help providing better quality for its work.
In addition, IT are responsible for all JCIMUNs documentaries

Internal Public Relations
This committee is responsible for the publicity of the
conference on campus. It should always come up with fresh and creative ideas
for promotion. This includes the freshman’s FYE booth, in class
presentations, and the delegates' recruitment booth on the new
campus. They should settle program and decorations of soft opening,
opening and closing ceremonies, mass emails, coverage and advertisements
in AUC’s media publications. IPR is in charge of sponsors for decorations
which include all promotional materials, such as lights and flowers

Publications
The Publications Committee is responsible for
designing the CIMUN poster, brochure, business cards, letter heads, delegates’
guide, conference handbook, invitations, certificates and all of the
conference’s advertisements. Through these publications, this committee
attempts to professionally convey the theme of the conference for the year. It
is also responsible for JCIMUN’s nametags, certificates, yearbook and notepad.
Finally, publications should cooperate with coordination for the yearbook since
they are more skilled with Photoshop.
